Changing your Email Address or Password

Changing your Email Address

Go to the My Account page and locate the section where it says "Email Address".  

Click the "Change" or "Add" button.

Enter your new email address and click the "Change Email Address" button.

We will send a confirmation email to that address. When you receive it (typically it takes a minute or two), follow the instructions in the email to complete the change.

Note: that we will not change your email until you follow the instructions in the confirmation email.

Note: If you cannot find the "Email Address" section, it is possible that your account was configured by your school or district to not have an email address.  

 

Changing (or adding) your Password

Go to the My Account page and locate the section where it says "Password".

Click the "Change" or "Add" button.

Type your current password (if you have one)

Type your new password and confirm it in the two provided text boxes.

Click the "Change Password" button.

Note:  If you've signed in with Facebook, Google, or your school's single sign-in provider (SSO), your account may not have a password.  You can always add a password to your account so that you can have an alternative method for logging into Vocabulary.com.
